Senior Citizen age limit

Hi all,

I am travelling to UK on May 3rd week..

few questions on dependent visa.
I have a widow mother of age 62, is she eligible as dependent ??
i read in some guidelines t age limit is 65... can any one of you clarify or point me to proper guidelines...

I think that kind of elderly dependant visa is only for people who have permanently settled, not sure whether tier 1 visa holder's elderly dependants can apply. This is what I found in UKBA website.

Tier 1 dependents = children under 18 years of age, or your husband, wife, civil partner, or unmarried or same-sex partner.
