6 months bank Statement for Tier 2 Gen

Post by messagetosiva » Wed Mar 31, 2010 10:26 am

Hi

I am applying for Tier 2 gen from withing Uk, (already on Tier 2 ICT).

As part of the documentation, my immigration lawyer is asking for past 6 months bank statement.
Is this necessary as the sponsor is giving me the Maintenance letter for me and my dependant.

Also for the CV is there any specific requirement or format ?

The list of documents he has suggested is as below,

Passport and Passports for each dependent

2 passport photos each
Maintenance Letter with your Certificate of Sponsorship number stated (Sponsor will provide)
Offer Letter (we will provide)
Copies of your original academic and professional qualifications
6 months Bank statements or six months Payslips
CV
IELTS or other English Language Test if your degree is not taught in English and not recognised by UK NARIC

Please help.

Regards
Kipper

6 months..... hmmm very strange....

go to ukba site, tier 2 section, and look for maintenance documents required. surely it cant be more than 3 months....

then show that to your lawyer and see him/her smile sheepishly.

regards

Six Months statements are not for maintenance fund it is for your previous work they want to see your last six salaries that why they asked for either bank statements or payslips which is required by UKBA
