Information on time spent outside the UK

Hello,

I need someone to help me answer this:

I got my HSMP visa on 2/3/2010, I came into the UK on 29/3/2010 which is 27days after getting the visa. I need to go back to my country and get some things sorted before returning to the UK.

I'm aware that i cannot spend more than 90days outside the UK in a year so that it will not affect my ILR.

I will like to know when the 90days counting starts for me.

Does the 90days start counting from the day i came into the UK i.e. 29/3/2010 or does it start counting from the day the visa was issued i.e. 2/3/2010.

I need to be clear on this so i can know how soon to return from my trip back to my country.

You should not go out of UK 90days at a stretch and total 90days also in 1year from the day you enter UK (if rules have not changed); so try to come back with in that count..
