One question guys; those who applied for a passport, did you have to fill in section 8, grandparents details, previous addresses, because it says "if you would like to tell us".

If your dated 17th March and you received today on 30th March, this means letter took 13 DAY to reach you???
Oh GOD, Mine was posted on 26th ( as Dated ) of March, means it will arrive on 08th April 2010.

i dnt think so because mine was posted on wenesda and i got it by monday took about 5 days inc sunday. a 2nd class post usually take 3 days or 4/5 days if there is delay. i think people mix up with decision date with posting date.

I'm pleased to inform you all that today I received approval letter from UKBA. They approved my citizenship application.

I've also booked an appointment for ceremony ( group ) on 14th April 2010.

What a morning! Looks like it's good news all around!!

I've just received my approval letter as well! Well, I'm at work at the moment but hubby rang and let me know, so haven't book for ceremony yet.

Thanks for all the advice from all of you! Looks like I'm lucky to get away with me debt issues.

I really don't know what to do, I enquire about private and it'll be £120-£160 depending on the timing, well my timing are very flexible so will likely to be £120.

check with other councils, you are allowed to use NCS service provided by any council.

i did fill my grand parents details where possible and for all the stuff like DOM , DOB etc which i didn't knew ,,,i simply wrote not known ...

you only need to give the previos address in case u have stayed less than 3 years at ur current one as per the guidance notes

Hi when did u call i also applied on 23rd and call them 2day morning, was told its still waiting for examiner to examine. im bit panic because atleast i need to get my old passprt back by 18 th otherwise im in trouble because i have to go back to my university

Hi Eskar , i called them this week almost daily except today and was told the same what u have been told ...i think there is nothing much we can do except to wait ....i am planning to call them tomorrow to see if any progress though....
