HSMP JR - ILR SOON - DOCUMENTATION?

Hi All

I have been reading a lot of posts and threads and haven't yet come to a conclusion of documents required and would really appreciate if anyone aware of what exactly are the requirements?

Background:

Came as a student in 2002.
HSMP Approved in January 2006 and stamped in May 2006.
Extension Under Tier1(General) May 2008 until May 2011.
To apply for ILR under HSMP JR May 2010.

Employment
Company A - Dec 2006 to May 2008
Company B - Dec 2008 to present.

Questions
Would the gap in employments cause any issues? and
For the ILR as per new form (9H)what documents do I need to provide and should that be for all 4 years?

Please let me know your thoughts and experiences if you have had any with ILR.

You will need 4 yrs of P60s,3 months pay slips & bank statements and letter from current employer, gap doesn't really matter if you had legal leave to remain.

What If I don't have my P60's, is there an alternative?
Would Bank Statements for the 4 years be a good substitute?

You will need two sets of proof, use pay slips and bank documents.

get payslips and letters from both employers.

employment gap doesn't matter. but how are your absences from the UK (trips abroad)? should be under 180 days total (and no single stretch over 90 days) over 4 years. unless they were business trips.

I have successfully found P60's from 2006 to 2009(yet to receive 2010)
No major earnings on P60's in 2006 and 2008 due to losing job in early 2008 and didn't have a job start of 2006.

Currently employed and getting letters from this current employment should not be an issue.
My total absence is about 170 days with 7 days being on a trip from work.

I have my previous employers Employment letter.May not have payslips for all the months.

So apart from that you think I'd need any further docs?

Nope, all that should be fine. If you have all P60s and employer letters, you don't need all the previous years' payslips. Just the ones from the last 12 months.

Set(O) Form
Mine and wife's passport(s)
Life in the UK (Wife)
P60's (2006-2007,2007-2008,2008-2009,2009-2010(waiting))
Current Employer Letter - confirming employment
Current Employment - 12 months' Payslips
Bank Statements - last 12 months (to keep it consistent with payslips)
Photographs (Wife+mine)
HSMP approval letter (proof of "before 3 April 2006")
Marriage Certificate

Looks good to me, Just make sure you use the correct Set O and M application forms published for Post April 2010...

Why not go f2f? for a slight premium you avoid 6 months of frustration on decision... Plus you can travel in an emergency :)

I wasn't aware if I should use form SET(M) too? isn't that only if applying to settle here as the husband, wife, civil partner or unmarried/same-sex partner of a British citizen or someone who is settled here?

Sorry, it's my bad... I was thinking the dependent had to fill SET M and the main applicant to fill SET O... Forgot the dependents details are included in SET O...
