I was just curious about what people do here on this board, especially those already in the UK.

Have you found it easy to get a job in the UK?

Is the job situation looking any better?
(last time i was in the uk, it was dismal)


Are there any industries that are hiring right now?




Also, how old are you and what country are you from?
My guess most people here are either from North America or the Middle East and around 21-30 yrs old?
Am I right?



oh and,
I'm a 25 yrs old teacher from the US. I finally found a job in the UK for the summer, though it's just temporary.
I found it a bit difficult to find one. I think I applied to 5 places before getting any call backs.

I'm a 38 yr old Mechanical Engr. from India. Have been lucky enough to be in employment for the last 4 yrs i'm here.

my guess is big majority of the forum users are from south asia (ind/pak mainly)
