Maintenence need guideance

Dear All.
i want some clarification about the maintinence.
i am doing MBA in a college
my visa expires on 22nd may 2010
i have to pay 2000£ to the college
and i think the maintinence funds to show is 1600£ all togather is 3600£
i got around 5000£ in my bank account.
the problem is that i was not maintaining my account properly
and till 25th march i had around 100£ in my account and on 26 i had around 4900 in my account.
my question is that will i have to submit 1 month bankstatement or three months i am afraid because there is so much ups and downs in my bank account.
kindly is some one help me in this matter by a nice guidance

It does not matter how you managed your money... whether hold in your pocket or put in your bank... the important thing is YOU HAVE THE MONEY!

I had that situation as well. Got the visa... There was a question about the maintenance.. I said that money was in my other acc.. and Here you see it now!

Why are you so confused about one and three months. Its very very clear, 1 month. And you can start you statement from today onwards, get bank statement on next 7th May and post your application. Dont take the one day risk. The guidance clearly says that proof of funds is bank statement, not just saying in other account or i had cash. You have to show the proof you maintained the money for one month. Best of luck.
