Post Study Visa To Tier 1 ( High Skilled )

Dear Members

I am under Post Study Visa right now. I will be eligible for HSMP by April 30th onwards as well , as per old rule. ( Old Earnings Table)

I am bit confused on whether i will be judged on old rule or new rule. My visa is valid till March 2011. I will complete one year at employment in 3 weeks time.

As per new rule , i wont be eligible. >25k . I make around 21k , with the Masters degree i will have 75 points as per old rules.

Could anyone help please?

In short, you will be judged on new rules and as per new rules you will not gain any points for earnings so i am afraid you will not be successfull.

Looks like tier 2 is your only other option now.
