Just went through few recent updates on this forum, seems currently everyone's getting the Visa in 25 days.

Hoping for the best.

2. HO received the application on 04-03-2010 (Royal Mail tracking)

4. HO Acknowledgment received on 12-03-2010 dated 05-03-2010

5. Passport received on 03-04-2010 via standard recorded delivery. Visa issued on 30-03-2010 until 07-04-2013.

Its been a month for me since I have received the acknowledgement letter on the 5th of march 2010. Since I have had 3 jobs and work as self employment too in the last 12 months, It must be really difficult for the border agency caseworker to do some calculation while looking at atleast 60 payslips (i got paid weekly at one job). They dont seem to be quite agilent at maths so no wonder they have to leave the case and get to another case. I have heard from one mate working over there that they get 18K to do their job.. frustating...

One of the reason it must be the caseworker doesnt seems to be quite intelligent or he must be doing some verification on ur documents. Generally they write letters to get verification.
Neither people at UK BORDER agency has been trained properly to do their work.. Check this website for details about the abuse that UK Border agency is conducting on asylum seekers http://noborderswales.org.uk/2010/02/03 ... n-cardiff/

@BT::: i applied in January 2010 for Tier1 General but still wiating for my documents back same like you and this wait is killing me. One of my friends friend got his passport back after 3 months as he applied in start of december 2009 and got visa in start of April 2010. This news gave me stability and little bit motivated me to keep patience. So keeping my finger crossed to hear good news. Lets see what happened.

@Demur123 and BT= I applied to switched my category to Tier1 General and supplied all required documents and evidences. I showed my income source from outside Britain as a proof submitted my tax returns to them and all those documents required by Home Office.
I don't know why the are taking so long to decide and if they require any more information they supposed to contact me but there is no communication..Therefor, just waiting and waiting...
