Band change of India from D to C

Post by renu3583 » Mon Apr 12, 2010 4:42 pm

Is it true that UK is considering to move India to Band C and so earnings multiplier will become 3.2 instead of current 5.3?

It is posted on workpermits.com and even y-axis told me the same.

I am thinking of applying in second week of May. Will these changes come before this. Please suggest.

May be, May not be..The original source of information should come from

http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/

Keep a tab on that site, for authentic information

It could happen anytime... may be tomm... or may not change for next few months.

Anybody else commenting about this is redundant till communication from UKBA.

But yes, it will change for countries and not sure how much it will change..

The mantra could be: Apply when you qualify, than waiting for changes to happen and take reactive actions

A 3.2 multiplier would mean that a person with bachelor's degree and under 30 years age would need around 8,50,000 in gross earnings.

That too at the current exchange rate of 68 Rs per 1 GBP, which is likely to go up in future.
