Dear HSMP community

I returned from the United Kingdom (after the expiration of my working holiday visa) at the end of February. After getting all my documents together, my lawyers submitted my HSMP application on 19 April.

I have the following questions:

1. Although my lawyers have confirmed they submitted my application on 19 April, the cheque to the home office only went through my bank account on 4 May. This seems a bit unusual. I was wondering at which date my +/- 12 weeks would start running?

2. Has anyone had any success with submitting a job offer (AFTER 6 WEEKS) to enable their application to be dealt with on an urgent basis? If so, how long did it take to process?

I would really appreciate any input!
