Supplementary Income rules & its restrictions

Post by Testanalyst » Sat Apr 17, 2010 9:56 pm

Hi,

I am currently working in UK for the past 2 years on tier 2 visa. I am thinking to switch to Tier 1 visa & falling short by some points due to the new Previous earning slab system.

I have my family business running on my name in India ,with proper taxfiling & if i add the earning from India + my UK earning i am eligible for it.

But i have the following queries,
1. Can i show supporting income when i am full time employed in UK?
2. Are there any rules/restriction on what would be considered as supporting income.

If it is a yes & i can include my income in India what are the documents which needs to be submitted for it?

Would appreciate is some one can help me in this!

Thanks -
