27th may 2006 to 18 th June 2006 23---not valid as travelled before November 2006
17th January 2008 to 31st January 2008 15 days
4th January 2009 to 22nd January 2009 18 days

Hi

Your understanding of absences is right.

Your calculations also seem right to me.

I am going for my ILR too under HSMP JR and the way I've calculated mine in counting days including my travel in and out of UK; for example

11 - aug -2006 to 15-aug-2006 (5 days)

calculating it your way would come to 4 days which I think makes more sense.

However in the SET(O)form you just have to fill in the dated and not the number of days..(I could be wrong)

Anyhow you are well within the 180 days limit however you count..so you will be fine

Good Luck!

Just to clarify , the travel days( both) are not counted as you are in UK on those days.
So 11/08 to 15/08 is 3 days of absence.
Best wishes

There is a link to case workers manual on this forum, suggest you search for it. It pretty much says what I posted earlier.
Best wishes
