tier1 extension switchover to other visa catogery

can tier1 visa holder after two year switch over to other tier1 categories?
can tier1 visa holder immieditly switch over to other visa categories?

Two conditions:
1. If you qualify for the new category.
2. The new category allows you to switch from Tier 1 (General).

yes am qualifying for tier1 (general) after the new rules, so can extension switchover to other visa catogery like tier2 or enterprise visa? and will i get 3 years then qualify for ILR?

The question is will you qualify for the category you intend to switch into from tier 1 (G)?

You can switch into Tier 2 or entrepreneur category if you qualify for that category.

When you switch category, you will be given 2yrs visa (as per current rules)

or
I will continue as extension and get visa?

Also is the visa 2 years of 3 years for switch over?
