Need assistance regarding the contract with other employers

Hi

Im currently holding a workpermit with an employer in London. The project with the current employer is going to finish by this month end. I wish to apply contract jobs in London. Is it legal to work for the contractors as my current employer is willing to relieve me to the other employers through the invoice based outsourcing. Will the other employers be able to hire me?
