First entry in UK after getting HSMP

First entry in UK after getting HSMP

Hi,

Once I get HSMP stamped, How long I can delay my first entry in UK?

It is better to go within 1 month from the date of issuance of visa to avoid later problems. If you go later than that, the immigration officer at the airport may question you why you didnt arrive within a reasonable time, and has the power to refuse to allow entry into the UK.

There are people who have entered UK even after 1 year of their visa issue date without any problem. Yeah, you may be asked a few questions at the immigration desk but, they will not refuse entry for this reason. You can enter UK any time before the expiry of your visa. True, that you might have problems extending if you dont find a job etc., and will have to extend twice before applying for ILR.

how many total days you need to be in UK for apply for ILR?

5 years is the eligibility and you can apply before 28 days of the completion of this period.

hi,
if i switch over to entrepreneur will this means i start over again and ILR clock reset?
or
I will continue as extension and get visa?

Also is the visa 2 years of 3 years for switch over?
