:D Airports reopen across Europe :D

Atlast some good news London heathrow has reopened again :D lately on tuesday night yipeeeeeeee

European airports have been slowly reopening, easing the travel chaos caused by six days of restrictions due to a cloud of volcanic ash over the continent.
Airports in the British capital, London, were reopened late on Tuesday, after France, Germany and Belgium had earlier allowed a partial resumption of services.Airlines are now free to schedule their flights accordingly.
However, with more than 95,000 flights cancelled across the world it will be some time before the airlines are able to clear the backlog of passengers. :) :( :)
Britain had delayed reopening the major air hubs in the capital amid fears that a fresh ash cloud was heading towards the area. The restrictions had already been eased in Scotland and some parts of northern England.
Iceland's civil protection department said that activity at the icelandic volcano had reduced on Tuesday.
The move to ease flight restrictions came after criticism from carriers, who said test flights in recent days by airlines including KLM, Lufthansa and British Airways suggested planes could fly safely despite the ash and that the danger was exaggerated. :x

None of the test flights reported problems or damage.
:D   :D
Which is it of the favors of your lord that ye deny.

settlement appeal

Post by rihanna » Wed Apr 21, 2010 8:00 am

I am helping my brother with his appeal. Could anyone advise on the wording for grounds of appeal? I realise that everyone's circumstances are different but I just need to get an idea of how to start writing it. Are there any helpful websites or books that we can read?

Continuing my reply to previous post:
What evidence you have supplied for accommodation?
Does your brother wife is educated? does she has any English Course or job experience?
We included my father's mortgage statement, letter from him stating that my brother and his wife can stay there rent free and property inspection report showing that it is 4 Bed house and won't be overcrowded. Was this enough or did we miss something?

First of all, you need to be extra careful of the advice given to you by certain members on this forum. Remember they are people who are not familiar with legislation/procedures and maybe giving you advice which they might have gained from personal experience.Take it from me it is not as easy as they makes it out to be.

There is a technique and wording that you have to use in writting appeals because a badly written appeal can make all the diffrence whether your brother gets a visa or not. Not everyone can do this and it is for this reason that I suggest you seek proffesional advice from an OISC registered advisor. They will be able to write the appeal. Try organisations such as IAS or JCWI as they are immigration specialist

Without knowing the full facts for teh reasons for teh refusal, its difficult to advise you.If you read my post on page 217 of this specific forum, it will tell you what documents you should have supplied. If you didnt provide these then you may have to think about it.

Not being disrespectful to you UK_Banned_Member,( or Nicky or the different names that you have been using) who and where does it say you have to have the NIC card translated into English.I certainly am not aware of this. When was this introduced?.

Maybe you can elaborate on this. If you cant then please dont give out information that is incorrect

Where are you getting your information from. Do you know what you are doing?. I think you have to be careful about the advice you give.

You don't know this little thing.
Just make a call to fedex or send them an email they would confirm you.

Here is from Fedex website.

Translations

If you want the UK Border Agency visa officer to consider your visa application you should provide translations of any supporting documents that are not in English. Any translated documents need to be submitted with the original document for verification. All translated documents must include the following information: -

• confirmation from the translator that it is an accurate translation of the original document
• the date of the translation
• the translator's full name and signature
• the translator's contact details

Also this is common sense that anything which is not in English needs to be translated in English.

Even there are template to translate NIC card to English.
I got one translated when I did my spouse application last year.

Nicky
Take it from me Nicky a translation of the NIC card is not required. If you wish to do it as a goodwill gesture you can do so,BUT IT IS NOT AN ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENT.

I agree the Nikkha namma has to be translated into English and done in the way you mentioned, but not the NIC card.

Something must be wrong with your phone. If you were banned you would not be able to access it from your laptop as well. Furthermore your name would have had the word BANNED next to it. :)

Gentlemen it’s a bit off the topic but still has some thing to do with the quality and authenticity of information from a certain member here on this forum. He appears now and then with different user names(previously known as UK_Banned_Member and LYNNUK) on this forum and misinform the people. :x

@Niky1234

Well listen mate whats your problem why the hell on the earth you are confusing the people here on this forum ,mate why you are messing around here on this forum with such irrelevant & incorrect info ???and i am 100% sure that there is NO such requirement or obligation to translate the applicant's pak urdu ID card allright, when the application is submitted only two photocopies of ID card are used by the gerry's staff which they attach one with the original vaf4a form and the other one is attached with the photocopy set of the form at the very front page of these forms ok do u get me now. :x
The reference you have posted above is for those documents which are generally in urdu in pak so applicants are obliged to get them translated and certified before handing them e.g.Nikkah namas, property docs, other affidavits in urdu and similar documents etc.(ID cards dont come in this frame)
Well weirdo or rather more appropriately(troll) do you think that people here on this forum are bunch of fools, nerds or wha? :x :x

well i asume you are one of those bandits who hang around the VACS & misguide the people quite similarly as you give out false info here on this forum :?  (Are you one of those are,nt you well i assume so lolzzzz).
And people could easily identify your posts out of thousands of post and I think you would love to know why that’s just coz of your pathetic and horrendous(Now search google for meanings lolzz) english grammar.
Please keep your knowledge to yourself and DO NOT misguide or mislead people with trash.

Uncle Batley khan is a professional and a very respectable gentleman and I respect him from the very depth of my heart 8) :P 8)

Settlement application

Post by AhmadZia » Wed Apr 21, 2010 4:37 pm

hi,

i wonder if one could help giving some advice.

my wife applied for her settlement application in Islamabad on 16.03.2010. in her application we only put 3 wedding pictures. (one when changing wedding rings, one when cutting the cake and one a group family picture). I have heard from others that 3 pictures are not enough. is this true?

also it is said that we should have provided copies of our email. I am surprised because no one should ask other people's private messages specially between husband and wife.

finally we have only provided two bank statements not three and the end balance is only £30 each time, however the statements shows that at least £2000 was paid into that account each month. And that was my wages paid directly there. I have also provided them with 6 months payslips and 10 year P60s. plus many other supporting document.

i hope my wife application is not refused.

any advice on this matter is kindly appreciated.

Pm me with your mobile phone number and I will contact you to have a look at your file and document over a curry somewhere in Bradford one evening.

It will be easier for me to do that, then answer every single question of yours on the forum. :D
