VERY URGENT - Showing Funds from 2 Accounts (UK+Overseas)

Post by mir_azam_k » Wed Apr 21, 2010 10:19 pm

Hi,

I am in need of help plz. its very URGENT!!!

I am showing part of the funds from UK bank account and rest of the funds from a bank account of my home country. I have read in the Tier 4 guidance that if the applicant is showing funds from an overseas account, the exchange rate needs to be as per the oanda currency converter as on the last day of the 28 days period. But I did not understand about the calculation of funds available for each day of the 28 days period. Can anyone please suggest the correct way of showing funds from the following 2 options:

(OPTION 1) Funds available in UK Account + Funds available in overseas account on each day of the 28 days period

For Ex: If UK Account had £800 on 01/03/2010, £805 on 02/03/2010 and £900 on 03/03/2010
After converting the funds into GBP, if Overseas acct had £750 on 01/03/2010, £700 on 02/03/2010 and £600 on 03/03/2010

Should I prepare a table and show the balance as follows

Date UK Account Overseas Account Total Funds per day
01/03/2010 £800 + £750 = £1550
02/03/2010 £805 + £700 = £1505
03/03/2010 £900 + £600 = £1500
.
.

and so on for each day untill 28/03/2010. The funds in the the TOTAL column will be the funds available on each day for this 28 day period. Therefore a minimum balance maintained on each day is £1505 atleast.

( OR )

(OPTION 2) Combination of least funds available in each of the accounts for this 28 day period

Date UK Account Overseas Account
01/03/2010 £800 £750
02/03/2010 £805 £700
03/03/2010 £900 £600

Minimum balance maintained on each day of 28 days in UK account = £800
Minimum balance maintained on each day of 28 days in UK = £600

Therefore total minimum funds maintained from both accounts = £800+600 = £1400 on each day in spite of highs and lows on different days.

Can anyone please suggest the correct way of calculation the funds if it is from 2 or more accounts? It is very urgent as I am applying my visa in a day or two (max)

many thanks
