Is Tier 2 intracompany visas transferable

Hi,

I have got a tier 2 intra company visa applied through my current company,Can anyone please let me know whehter i can transfer that to tier 2 general or Tier 1.Please let me know your suggestions on what is the procedure to do this.

I mean to ask whether can i transfer the current visa to facilitate working for a diiferent company ?

Yes you can.

For Tier 2 general you need new certificate of sponsor-ship from your new company and then need to restamp new Tier 2 visa.

For Tier 1 visa you can apply directly with all the necessary documents if you qualify as per point based systems.

Transfer?

You may apply (afresh) for a new Tier 2 (General) visa based on a new Certificate of Sponsorship from a new compnay or you may apply (afresh) for Tier 1 (General) if you qualify for it.
