Applying in Person

Post by ozgrant » Sat Apr 24, 2010 2:51 pm

When applying in person, if the officer doesn't understand something in the application, will they typically ask the applicant for clarification there and then? Or is what you submit all they will consider.

Also, if, for example, you claim 35 points for past earnings, but then one month of income is not accepted for some reason, and that takes you down to 30 points, will they keep processing the application (assuming you still have enough points of course). Or will they reject it because you claimed 35, but actually only have 30.

Thanks in advance. Just paranoid about getting this right first time.

according to my in-person experience there is every chance that they will ask you if they are not clear on anything, when you'll go there you'll realize that they are human beings just like you and me, the only problem is they follow the rules wheather that rules make sence or not.

NO, they wont reject your application just because you claim 35 and they consider 30 points only.

good luck
