For example someone getting a 2-year spouse visa, then ILR, and now applying for naturalisation ..... well they might have spent the whole of their time in the UK having and looking after their young children. That circumstance would not preclude them from applying for naturalisation.
Any particular reason why you did not apply for JSA ... after you had your ILR? Was it simply that you were not job seeking?
Government makes NI contributions for you....Excuse my ignorance, but how does that work? If I receive JSA, I continue making NI contributions?Nothing to stop you claiming JSA now .... assuming that you are job seeking. At the very least that should get your NI contributions credited for the period of claim.
Thanks.
