Market is getting better than it was. There are more jobs than last year.

if you are coming from India, then set your expectations right. Getting job won't be as easy as it is there. So be patient and do your home work properly.

It may take you anything from 2-3 weeks to ..... (no one can predict this).

All the best!

Hi nasirraza_31,

Thank you very much for your valauble answer. Note: I have 7.5 years Java/J2ee exp, am very strong in latest j2ee related tech.

I have some more questions

1. Let me know the jobsites of UK for getting java jobs?
2.Is it possible to get the UK job from India?
3. I am coming alone. Intially which part of the UK is better for landing in UK and job trails.
4. for initial 2 months How much minimum money I have take it to UK?

Thanks & Regards
Rao

1. Let me know the jobsites of UK for getting java jobs?try these - jobserve.co.uk,monster.co.uk,reed.co.uk,s1Jobs.com,cwjobs.com etc
2.Is it possible to get the UK job from India?I don't think so, specially when there are hundreds of candidate available in the local market
3. I am coming alone. Intially which part of the UK is better for landing in UK and job trails. Stay in london as it is well connected, but be open to any location.
4. for initial 2 months How much minimum money I have take it to UK? If you are living in hotel then 50 * 60 for rent, 300-400 for food, 50 for phone and travel could be anything depending on how much you travel for job hunt.

Don't be picky in jobs intially. Just grab whatever comes your way.

All the best!

I would suggest to accommodate yourself in PG for 2 months which will cost you around 350-400 per month or even less on sharing basis (I am assuming you are not looking for posh accommodation in central London). Total 800

Travel - say aggressive travelling - 150 GBP per month. Total 300 for Areas in and around London. Places outside London will cost you more. Add 200 GBP to that. Hence Total 500 GBP

Food - Start cooking at home will cost you this amount 300-400. However taking each meal from outside can cost you at least 5 GBP per meal. Total 15 GBP for day.so 15*50 = 750 GBP.(I am sure you wanna avoid it)

Overall Total can be around 800-1000 GBP per Month if you are single. Accommodation is key factor in overall expenses. So try to keep it as low as possible. Other expenses are manageable and subject to be in your control.

Hi npanglia,

Thank you very much for your valuable suggestions.
I am not looking for posh accomodation up to getting the job in UK.
Very normal and shared accomdation is also okay for me.

Please let me know some PG addresses in London.

Thanks & Regards
