Passport expiry limitation for tier 1 visa

I will be applying for UK tier 1 general migrant visa on 14th May 2010. My passport expiration is 02/2011. will it be issue? or Should i apply for new passport?

No! You can get the visa and then renew your passport, in your case!

Passport expiring shortly after travelling on Tier 1

I am going on Tier 1 next month however my passport validity will only be for 5 more months will i face any problem.

Should i get my passport renewed in london or india?
