Qulification related query.

I have completed Masters in Science from mumbai university in yr 1995.(I have result sheet for the same) But i have received Convocation certificate in 2001, in this case which date should be considered as degree award date (i assume its 1995)?

1995,

Doesn't your degree certificate show the mention of Degree awarded on XXXX?

Degree certificate says that i have completed degree in 1995 and degree has been awarded on 2001
