Dependent funds query

Hi

I have a tier 1 and recently relocated to uk. In my indian account I have enough funds to support 1600 pounds for my wife and 800 for me.

My question is the 800 + 1600 pounds I need to show should be held in a Uk bank for 3 months or my indian bank account funds also qualify.

as long as your account is in your name or if you are using it as a joint account in that case your and your dependent's name
It does not mattery where you have the funds though if you are in UK it is recommended to have them in UK.
