Previous Earnings - Paid in cash - Not claiming - Alright?

Post by keepsmilinyaar » Fri Apr 30, 2010 1:32 pm

I have a question on Previous earnings:

I am claiming points for a 12 month period in which I have three employers.

1. ABC - First 15 days of the first month in the claim period - Payslip for 15 days
2. PQR - Last 15 days of the first month in the claim period
and second whole month -. Paid in Cash - Have no proof
3. XYZ - The remaining 10 months of the claim period

My question is, should I mention about my company PQR in the cover letter and state the reason that I am not claiming points since I was paid in cash and have no proof. I was told by someone that it is better to be honest, since they do have checks and might even call up the currenlty or previous employer for such checks.

Or is there anything specific that I should mention with respect to the my being paid in cash and not claiming points for it.

Thanks in advance !!

If you don't wish to claim for any particular month you don't have to just simply use your cover letter and explain you will be claiming for 11 months and a detailed breakdown.

As long as you have sufficient points you can even claim for just one month and full-fill the requirement. *subject to if you are earning enough money in that one month :)

Thanks Ali.

I am sure everyone in this forum would love to have that One month pay.

Thanks for the advice.

Some guy from West Africa did post recently about earning enough in one month. He lived in a 11 uplift ratio country and probably got a USD/GBP salary for his hardship of working in West Africa.
