Can the experts please point out if OP has to inform UKBA that he is now not woking with those employers. Because it says that the applicant should inform them asap if any information on the application form changes.

You won't get benefits if you've resigned! Not for a fair while anyway! The system is those on their arses, not those in a job who jack it in!

Have you thought about the ramifications of doing this?

When you actually apply for benefits, you need to give your last employer's details and explain why your job was lost.

It is very unlikely you can claim benefit just because you resigned! Unless you were made redundant or so you cannot get benefit.

Although ILR holders can claim all benefits as of British nationals, self-inflicting joblessness is not usually covered.

When you completed your application, you probably signed the declaration (section 6.1) including:

"I promise to inform the Home Secretary in writing of any change in circumstances which may affect the accuracy of the information given whilst this application is being considered by the Home Office."

From this, I would suggest that you should tell the Home Office of the change in circumstances.
