EC experience

Thanks everyone on this forum, special thanks to Hert, Mwazir, Kayalami, John.

I got the EC from mumbai in 2 days. I have attached the following docs.

VAF1 form
HSMP letter
Funds approx GBP8000 (bank statement)
Accomodation (6days hostel acco-1room)
work experience certificate
current employer offer letter and sal slip
marriage cert
dependent passport.

Hi this is Ajex from Mumbai and I too got my EC approval today.


Here is the summary of experience.

Had submitted all the documents mentioned by Mubbu 2 weeks back and was called for Interview .

Interview was at 9.00 am

Reached VFS Mumbai at 8.00 am.

Was taken to British deputy High comission.

My name was called at 10.00 am.


The Guy asked mainly following

Why you want to Go - answer HSMP

Do you want to be citizen of UK -Yes

what about Job arrangements

What about accomodation

What about your family ;when will they join??

Do you have any relatives/friensds in Uk;what do they do???

I had shown 8,500 UK pounds available.

In general it was nice and friendlty and at the end the officer informed that he is granting the visa and I can collect the pass port same day evening
