Final document check before application

Post by [iD] » Tue May 11, 2010 7:25 am

My wife has her appointment in PEO Croydon tomorrow for switch to HSMP dependant to Tier 1 dependant. It's an in-country application.
I'll be glad if you guys could confirm if the documents are correct or we need anything else.

-) Dependant application form
-) Recent photographs
-) Dependants original passport(s)
-) Main applicant original passport and photocopy
-) Notification of success of main applicant tier 1 application
-) Marriage certificate
-) Main applicant's 3 months personal bank statements (proof of maintenance funds)**
-) Two bank statements (Proof of address, from two different sources)

** I know that policy guidance says the bank statements should be immidiately before the date of application but it's just impossible. My personal bank statements for maintenance funds are dated till 27th of April as I'll get next one after a couple of weeks. Hope it's not a problem

Thanks in advance
iD
Goodluck.

That's fine iD. Statements cannot be more than a month from date of application and yours are just 15 odd days so it's perfectly fine.

I do remember reading that bank statements should be immidiately before the date of application but now I can't find it on guidance note, which is weird lol
anyway you are right, thanks

Statements should not be more than 30 days old. That mean you can still apply before 26th of May by using the statements issued on 27th or April.
