Will Engineers Australia Accept me

My degree and my previous experience is of telecom and i have applied in Engineering Australia on basis of telecom. But now i am working in IT field.I think i will get positive assessment but what will happen in immigration process they will ask me for recent Telecom experience were as i will be working in IT field. Then what will happen.
What should i do wait 3 more year and then reapply with new experience or should i go with the mix experience into the immigration stages?????

Nothing like that you can say now I want to change my field because it's field of my interest but due to some reason I had lost that chance and now I want to do this . Be pure and true and never be lie .
