Maintenance Proof - 3 month Bank Statement also required ???

Post by keepsmilinyaar » Wed May 05, 2010 2:39 pm

Hi,

As part of providing proof for Mainenance Fund, apart from getting the letter from the bank, are we also required to provide the Bank Statement for the three month period ?

Thanks for your reply in advance.

Regards
Rahul

I think for maintenance funds u can have just a letter from bank confirming ur funds (£xxxxx) hv been maintained for the last 3 months

or

only bank statement showing funds r maintained is sufficient.

Maintenance Fund proof

Post by ms_singh » Wed May 12, 2010 8:55 pm

I am a being a bit thick here, but just wanted to confirm that this is right.

I am planning to apply my Tier 1 visa on 17/05/2010.

For the 12 months earning proof, I am showing earnings proof from 12/04/2009 to 10/04/2010. (4 weekly salary slips, hence submitting 13 payslips).

Bank statements are being submitted from 26/4/2009 to 25/04/2010.

For the maintenance funds, previous 90 days savings proof is satisfied with the above submitted bank statements as rule states :most recent statement must be dated no more than 1 calendar month before date of application.

date of application : 17/05/2010
1 calendar month before date of Appl: 17/4/2010 .
I will be submitting statements upto 25/04/2010.

Hence , I assume this should be fine. Am I interpreting correctly ?

Yes, as long as you have held the maintenance funds between 26-Jan to 25-Apr.

Make sure that you mention in your cover letter that you are using the same bank statements for both the purposes:
1. To claim points for earned income.
2. To claim points for maintenance funds.

ICFN details

Post by ms_singh » Thu May 13, 2010 3:26 pm

Hi,

Could anyone please clarify the following?

I believe ICFN is not required for my Tier 1 visa application as I am on work permit in UK.

So what do I mention in C10. If the ICFN is not enclosed then please give details why the applicant is unable to provide it.

Do I say "Not Applicable"

Also, do I leave C9 blank ?
