Salary earned in home country while on business travel

Post by Devanshi » Thu May 13, 2010 1:14 pm

I am applying for Tier 1, has one confusion, I was in singaproe from Nov 17 to Dec 13 on

business visa and salary was paid on Nov 30 and Dec 31 as usual. Can I break Nov and Dec

salary in two portion -

Nov - In India (apply uplift ratio)
Nov - In Singapore (do not apply uplift ratio)
Dec - In Singapore ( do not apply uplift ratio)
Dec - In India (apply uplift ratio)

P.S. I have posted this elsewhere but in different presentation, Please do not move this as this gives a better context to question

This is a very simple matter you can claim Earnings points in both salary portion as mentioned but you have to appoint a good lawyer who has a good knowledge and specialist in such type of case. I think if you face the any problem then first talk with your company HR it may possible you did not need the any claim and all matter solve very easily.
