Got Tier1 Visa approved (My Experience)

Post by tarunvarun » Mon May 17, 2010 11:58 pm

Hello Every1.

I got my visa approved. Tnx to every1 on the forum.
This forum has been quick in responding and was helpful. Please suggest this to your friends.
I am in US and applied for Tier1 in UK
First time I applied directly n it was rejected due to insufficient documentation.
Second time I applied recently but via Local agent. Its surprising, this time they said I cannot use my W2 (like P60 in UK) as secondary document(as source is Employer, same as my first document Payslips.). They asked agent to get it from me. Had I applied directly they wuld have rejected as they say it in the guidance form that they will not contact for any additional documentation.
Dear Friends, be very very careful for the first time u apply..check everything, dont assume anything, ask friends, post in Forums, get help and then apply correctly.
Final advice better go with an agent if you have a choice, this MIGHT help you if incase you messup something.

Thanks again.
Good Luck.
Tarun.

Yea, you are right. Some of the requirements are too fussy... My employer say that they don't sign payslips as they issue it online. They are going to issue me a letter stating my total income in the last yer.. they can't break it up by month....

Where you can find an agent? Any recommendation?

Good question mate and like you, I'm eager to know why.

The immigration laws in the US are less cumbersome than the UK.
