IELTS Validity 1 or 2 years? - Tier 1 General Visa

IELTS Validity 1 or 2 years? - Tier 1 General Visa

Plese can someone confirm if IELTS score is valid for one year or two years for UK Tier 1 (General) applications? I have given my IELTs in Dec 08 with a bank of 7.5. Will I be able to claim points for this?
