Police clearance from countries lived in since 18 yrs ?

Post by Pranvayu » Tue May 18, 2010 4:41 pm

Hi,

Would like to know if under Tier 1 (General) application a person must supply a police check for countries lived in the past? I have lived in the US from 13-25 but returned to India with no plans of going back. My Green card have since expired. I am looking at Tier 1 to the UK but wanted to know if I should get a police clearance from the US before filing the application? I know some countries ask for police clearance for all countries lived past the age of 18 yrs.

If not at the application stage, will this be requirement at the time of extension or application for UK citizenship?

Any info will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Cheers,

Does the policy guidance / application form asks you for police clearance certificate(s)?
