Did anyone get Visa post new government formation?

Just wanted to check if anyone in this forum has got VISA post new govt. formation i.e. 12th May.
The reason is to speculate if the new govt. has put on hold current application due to immigration cap drive.

Hi

I applied on 3rd may. I have opted for collection from VFS office. My status today(20th may) on the site is to collect the passport. I will be collecting it tomorrow as the timelines for collection is crossed. I am not sure if it was stamped or not. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Which VFS did you apply from?

I applied from VFS chennai.

My documents included

Application forms
passport
payslips stamped and sealed , original bank statements
degree certificate, consolidated marksheet, medium of instruction letter
3 months bank statement stamped and sealed, letter from bank confirming maintenance amount.

I Have applied for Tier 1 General visa. My status says "passport ready for collection" since Chennai VFS passport collection closes at 3 pm, i have to collect it by tomorrow. will update the status tomorrow morning.

My husband has applied on 19th April 2010. No response yet. VFS site shows your visa in under process at BHC.

Finally got the visa approved on 31st May.

Agreed, the fact of the matter is patience starts testing you as soon as the timliness cross 20 Days

TIER 1 Visa for me and my dependent from Delhi-VFS

I also applied on 27th April. Till now it's showing under progress.
I have also selected the option of collection from VFS.

Just for your reference, my application (tier 1) was recd. by the High Commission on 13th May and i have the passport stamped wz my visa. So this visa was stamped after the new govt. formation. But note that i reside in North America.
