If a person got a Tier 4 dependent visa and intends to travel before main Tier 4 applicant, like 15 or 20 days in advance to sort out accommodation etc …… would that be ok with immigration officer at airport or both of them have to travel together?

They will have to travel with or after the entry of the person on whom they are dependant.
