HSMP .... Need Advise & agent details

Post by efforts16 » Sat Mar 04, 2006 8:20 am

Dear friends !

I'm from India & at present designated as a Senior Marketing Manager in an Export / Fashion Organization with 15 years of experience. Since I'm planing to apply for HSMP. I've few doubts ....... Kindly revert on below queries :

* Based on my experience I'll earn 50 points.

* My Graduation degree will get 15 points.

* Since a major part of my earning is not in white, so I won't get any point for earnings & my employer is not ready to provide me any kind of proof.

1) Pls. advice is it worth applying for HSMP, when I know that i'll earn only the min required 65 points !!!

2) For english proficiency, can I show a letter from my current organization ... as I dont hv. any certificate from my school / colledge !!!

3) Pls. advise the contact details of some agents who can get quote a best price to get the work done.

Will appreciate yr prompt reply.

Thanx / Regards

basis

I think during the movement., we lost track of the real question here. Your salary situation might create a problem. Thought you claim that your experience and degree will get you through HSMP.. but, getting 50 points for experience is a uphill task. You anyway have to mention about your salary., and if you mention it to be something meagre and not in line with your "high exp" job, you know the rest.... similarly if you mention it to be something big... eyebrows will be raised as to why arent you claiming points for that...which will pretty much seal your hsmp application. If you dont mind loss of your application amount.., you can still try it out. Miracles do happen..... dont even worry about agents... they just get paid for postmanz job... read through some old posts here and you can make your own application..... All the best.

Does your employer mention these perks on your salary slips and are these valid perks which are tax free under indian tax laws ?

I had a few (valid and legal) tax free components in my salary but they were shown explicitly on all my payslips and salary docs and I was able to quote the exact section no. of the IT law to claim them as my tax free salary components. I was approved.
