Urgent!!

Post by vijaykdwivedi » Wed Mar 01, 2006 6:23 pm

Dear Friends,
I am a software engineer with 6.5 Ys exp in telecom software development from India.
1. Application received by HSMP Team on 7th Feb 06.
2. CC debited on 8th Feb
3. Decision made on 17th Feb
4. Rejection Letter and Docs received on 1st March

I have provided following proofs for claiming the points
Proof of Education Background: 15 Points
2. Degree Certificate from University
Proofs of Work Experience: 25 Points
3. Appointment Letter from Emp1( Original )
4. Relieving Letter from Emp1 ( Original )
5. Experience Certificate Emp1 ( Original )
6. Appointment Letter from Emp2 ( Original )
7. Relieving Letter from Emp2 ( Original )
8. Experience Certificate Emp2 ( Original )
9. Appointment Letter from Emp3( Original )
10. Relieving Letter from Emp3 ( Original )
11. Experience Certificate Emp3 ( Original )
12. Appointment Letter from Emp4 ( Original )
13. Relieving Letter from Emp4 ( Original )
14. Experience Certificate Emp4 ( Original )
15. Appointment Letter from Emp5( Original )
16. Promotion Letter from Emp5 ( Original )
Proofs of Past Earnings: 25 Points
17. Income Tax Returns for the period April 2004 - March 2005 ( Original )
18. Salary Slips for the period April 2005 - December 2005 ( Original )
19. Income Certificate from Employers ( Original )
20. Bank Statements for the period January 2005 – December 2005 ( Original)
Proofs of Partner’s Achievements: 10 Points
21. Marriage Certificate ( Original )
22. Joint Account Bank Statement ( Original )
23. Joint Home Loan Agreement ( Photocopy )
24. Joint Sale Deed ( Photocopy )
25. Degree Certificate ( Original )

I had been awareded following points
1. Academic Achievement - 15
2. Work Exp - 0
3. Earning Criteris - 25
4. Skilled Partner - 0

The reson for not awarding the points in Work Exp given was "We note that the employer references were provided. However, they did not provide the necessary details, as outlined above, to award the points. The evidence provided did not contain full description of the duties and responsibilities held and therefore we were unable to determine the level at whichyou were employed. Therefore, we were unable to award points".

My question is:
When I am providing the appointment letter, that mentions the designation, relieving letter that mentions designation and dates of joining and relieving even then why my level of working couldn't be ascertained my the case worker??

It is also worth mentioning that my initial three experiece letter just mentions that I worked from so and so date to so and so date as designation and he was sincere, harworking we wish him best of luck. However, experience letter from Emp4 clearly mentions what all modules I worked.

I want to know it is worth requesting the review of my application?? If so what all are the things I can argue about??
Also, can I send review request through e-mail of I should send snail mail?

Please advise me at the earliest??I will be thankful to you.
Thanks and Regards
Vijay

consolation....

looks exactly like my application, but, my emp<n> stopped at 3., and i got an approval. Just goes out how unpredictable the results can be. In your case, i believe the caseworker was very very strict about the exp letters you sent. There was this performa that was getting circulated mentioning the details required. The letter was attrociously detailed... and if we go back to our ex-employers (whom we ridiculed big time while parting)., they will have a good laugh at our plight. But, some guys still got a detailed letter and managed to get approvals. If you try a review with the same proofs, it will meet the same fate again., its better to get it in the format they expect and send it on review.... all the best.

Hi Kumi,
Thanks for wishes.
I have requested for the review, and in review request I have quoted the portions of appointment letters and experience letters whereever I was able to find the relevant information. However, I am not very much confident about the positive response.Just kept fingers crossed and awaiting for their reply.
Thanks and Regards
Vijay
