Making a Tier2 Application

Hi,

My visa expires in August 2010 and my sponsor has assigned a sponsorship certificate to me which expires in July 2010. I would like to know whether there is a time limit before which I can apply for further leave to remain(extension) under tier2(General).

A quick reply would be much appreciated.

Application for leave to remain must be submitted within 3 months of CoS being issued or before the expiry of current leave, whichever is earlier.
