Joint Account funds for tier 1 visa

I have Joint account with my Wief

But my wief is the primary account holder .not me

Can I use it to show maintence funds for my tier1 application .

My first question will be ..... is it's mention in your account statement that person is primary or secondary....

IMO, joint accounts are like two person names .. written .. ABC/ XYZ .... so i do not think this will be a problem ... It will be a problem when you bank letter will say you are secondary person and ECO will think .. you are secondary )

Yes! you can use ..but be careful there should be no words like primary and secondary ... in your account statement and bank letter ...... If possible get a letter from bank stating that these 2 names are operating account names and funds are held for 90 days or more etc...

Add , if possible .... Account type ****** holds funds in cash and they can be with drawn any time .
