c visit visa query

Post by agniukas » Fri May 28, 2010 1:35 pm

Hi,

Does anyone here know how the C visit visa is issued for ireland as to the dates of entry? application form has the fields for the intended arrival to ireland. do they take that in consideration, or do they just issue visa from the date of the decision? and what would be the time interval for entering ireland (like 3 months or more?)? thanks

3 months from the date of actual entry to the state. This is the case as recent as two weeks ago.

thanks. just to clarify my question. what are the dates on the visa sticker before coming to ireland. a friend wants to come in october. if he is granted visa will it be for october-december, or from the date of the decision lets say june-september if decision is reached next week?
