bail application

Post by IANB » Fri Mar 03, 2006 9:19 pm

My future son in law has a bail application pending....his hearing is on wednesday, he has signed papers to request removal back to his home country (gambia) he believes that this will speed up his return to this country, to be with my daughter who he plans to marry in Gambia. She is expecting twins to him. Will a bail application affect his removal? Is this an advisable step to take. We have vouched for him and will support him in any way we can. If he is succesfull in bail application will he be able to return to the gambia of his own free will. He was arrested for having an expired student visa. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, he has also had all privalages taken away from him in Harmondsworth because he has refused to be moved to a detention center in gosport. Is this legal.
Thanks in advance/
Ianb

This matter seems too complicated to be handled in this forum. You are warmly advised to seek specialist legal advice.
