We have applied for settlement visa for my wife in April 2010 I have done all the paper work
3 months wage slips
P60
letter from employer
proof of money I send to her/letters/cards/gift
Property inspection living with mum/dad
saveings £4500

but I only stated work when I got back from india in January because I was out of work for 9 months will this cause a problem.

Just because you started work in january should not be a problem so long as its a permenant position and you have provided your letter of employment and wageslips.

you also have saving of 4500GBP which should help.
