Can you get temp stamp in GNIB in evening or weekend?

Post by Monifé » Thu Jun 03, 2010 8:07 am

Hi guys,

My partner will soon be getting the letter to bring to GNIB to get his temporary stamp.

I know the EU citizen, me, has to go with the non-EU and both bring their passports but I was just wondering is it possible to get this done in the evening or on a saturday as I work til 6 about 45 minutes away from Dublin (with traffic).

I cant take any time off work yet as I am only in the job 3 weeks.

Thanks in advance :)

If your address is in Co. Dublin (city or County), or Bray Co. Wicklow your office is in the City Centre.

Any other county you local office is Garda District HQ.

Hi, sorry I wasnt clear.

I live in Dublin 6.

But my work is in Dublin 18 so it would take 45 mins to get there after work and I finish work 6pm. Good to know they are open til 10, thanks ben.

Do they still issue tickets after 7pm or do you even need a ticket just to register? Thanks
