claim points for previous earnings for tier1

Post by xavierfrancis » Fri Jun 04, 2010 1:43 pm

Hi all,

I am going to apply for tier1 in this month. I got a doubt while I am going through the link 'http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/worki ... /earnings/' regarding claiming points for the previous earnings.

In that they have mentioned that 'earnings must be made up of 12 consecutive months and must fall within the 15 months before your application' and claim 5 points if my salary is more than 25,000.

From June - August 2009 my basic pay is £2073.08
From September 2009-May 2010 my basic pay is £2135.25 with April 2010 P60 certificate with gross pay of £25397.25.

My query is do I need individual monthly salary of more £2084 to satisfy the annual salary of £25000 or do i need the total annual salary (sum of 12 consecutive months) of more than £25000 for the claiming periods?

Can I claim 5 points for previous earnings?

Please let me know.
