Tier 1 (General) Dependent Visa Processing time : VFS Delhi

Post by tier1_aspirant_del » Fri Jun 04, 2010 11:46 pm

Hi,

Every BHC has its own processing time based on its workload and backlog. I am in UK currently on Tier 1 (General) Visa from last one month.

My wife applied for her Tier 1 (General) Dependent Visa on 26th May 2010 from VFS Delhi. So I am calling all those who have recently applied for their spouse Tier 1 (G) Dependent Visa from VFS Delhi to share their timelines and experience. It will really be a great help for future or waiting applicants.

Thanks.

Our Timelines:

Applied for Tier 1 (G) dependent visa on : 26th May 2010
Application Dispatched to BHC Delhi on : 26th May 2010
Application Under Process Status Change on : 01st June 2010
Visa Status: Under Process

it's varying dramatically based on british high commission location in india as one can see in the processing time guide. So I feel that the tracking of processing time should be specific to a location.

Thanks.

Even my wife is planning to apply for dependant visa from VFS delhi..
Please keep us posted on the processing time.
Also, if possible share the list of all the documents used to file the application.

Puneet: One very important thing - Try to apply for your wife before september 2010 otherwise she has to pass an english test before applying for dependent visa application.

fund shortfall by 1 day but refilled

Post by puneetdwd » Mon Jun 21, 2010 4:59 pm

We will complete 90 days (3 month) criteria by Aug 1st week as the fund has shortfall for a single day but I refil it same day bt don't want to take risk so wil wait another 2 months.
Eg.
|Dr |Cr |Available bal
01/04/2010 Deposit Cheque xxx | |100,000 |160,000
12/04/2010 Withdrwal Cash | 30,000 | -------- |130,000
12/04/2010 Bank Transfer |--------- |40,000 |170,000

There are 2 entries for 12/04 at one entry it has gone down the reqd fund...so shall they consider that?

In such a case its better to wait till Aug. It is also fine if you apply for it in August. I feel that the balance must not fall even once during last three months. Seniors can comment better on it.
