Importance of submitting contracts for Tier 1 - URGENT

Post by Dimitri » Sun Jun 06, 2010 9:07 pm

Dear all,

is it mandatory to provide the HO contracts between self employed applicants (sole traders) and companies who we did work for?

Some say that apart from invoices, letters from accountants, bank statements... its important to show the HO contracts between the applicants' business and the companies he worked with ie the companies invoiced.

Is this the case?

Thanks.

According to the new guidelines of the Tier 1, it is necessary that the complete details of the other party should be given. This means that you have to give them details about your reason for income & a proof that the reason for income is legal and genuine.

For this reason the contract is necessary. Let me tell you some thing that using the contract along with invoices and bank statements will ease the work of the case worker & at rather decrese the point of investigation.

The case those went for investigation are those which lack documents. If a transation is verified by Bank statement, Invoice & copy of contract and every thing shows the same amount/figure there is no reason for the case worker to raise any doubts.
