FSW Application and UK citizenship

one of my colleague wants to apply for FSW Visa for canada

she got ILR last week and will be eligible for citizenship next year May. would the application of FSW can effect her application for Citizenship.

At present she is intented to live in uk but subsequently she might consider moving to Canada.

Kindly advise, when is the best time to apply for FSW visa.

Not sure how the FSW will impact on UK citizenship application, but keep in mind that for FSW your friend needs to be on the list of eligible occupation. This list is rumor to be changed in the coming months (not sure when). If her occupation is on the current list, she may not want to delay her FSW application.
