Short of 8 days for ILR

I am short of 8 days for my ILR, even after utilizing the 28 day period.

I had work permit before then i switched to Tier1 which when expires is making me short of 8 days.

Can anyone guide me what options do i have?

Do i need to apply for a full extension Tier1 application just to conver the 8 day shortage?

Any guidance will be really appreciated,

I am also short of few days and I am planning for the 2nd extention to complete my 5 years. I think there is not any other option, what we can do is I think we can apply early extention to less the burdon of fess twice in short time so that why I will hopfully apply my extention this year and then apply for ILR next year.
